Natural Skincare vs. Treatment Skincare
Updated: Jul 26, 2020
I had really difficult skin growing up because I didn't have anyone to teach me how to take care of my skin. I had oily skin, dry patches, acne, hyperpigmentation, you name it I had it. My skin condition was due to lack of knowledge, so I educated myself. Although I went to cosmetology school I wasn't interested in skin, I was interested in hair. I educated myself by asking question to those who had flawless skin and the internet of course. I asked what they use and tried their method and was unsuccessful until I ran into a young lady who skin was like butter, lol! I asked her what she used on her skin and she introduced me to Rodan and Fields.
Rodan and Fields worked wonders on my skin because it was a treatment. I was very happy with my results. I didn't have anymore acne, dry patches, hyperpigmentation etc. My skin was like butter too! lol! But I stop using it for a couple of reason and those reasons were because it became very expensive and I didn't want to continue treating my skin when I had accomplished flawless skin. I transitioned to natural skincare. I now use My Butter Bar Skincare which is all natural and vegan ingredients. I was really reluctant to switch because I didn't think going natural would work as great as Rodan and Fields, I was wrong. I tried natural skincare in the past and was unsuccessful with results, so I really was reluctant. But I researched and read a lot on the company and all I have read was great things.
I detoxed my skin first with the The Flawless Detox System to get rid of all the toxins in my skin. From then on I was hooked. My skin did not experience any bad skin condition, it remained flawless throughout the process. I am glad I switch to natural skincare because I can actually read what I am putting on my skin. I don't knock Rodan and Fields, I am very pleased to have had the best treatment to get me back to my journey of natural skincare. What do you use on your skin and how do you protect your skin? Just Know, environment and what you eat are the two major factors as to what your skin will look like. Start paying attention to those two things and you will start to notice that you need to make changes to obtaining better skin.
