As I travel to Pismo Beach, I reflect on how beautiful life can be if I just make an effort to see. Seeing is truly believing, believing in what I can do gives me hope that I can make it happen. In hard times like this pandemic, we forget to focus on what is out there. They say (the media) stay home, quarantine, social distance etc. To be truly honest with myself, I am doing as much as I can to be safe and keep others safe but I can’t live my life in fear and stay isolated. My life has to continue because I have a child to look out for. He deserves to live a happy life, so I am going to make sure that he see that beauty is everywhere. We are heading to the beach for his birthday and I want him to enjoy himself, I want to enjoy myself, and together we will accomplish that. We as people are created to explore and accomplish great things in life. I believe in myself and when I achieve the great in me, I can look back and say I did that. I don’t want to look back and think “damn I did nothing!” because if I do that, I will regret not living my life how I wanted to. I don’t let people tell me I can’t, so I’m not going to tell myself I can’t, because I can and I will. Beauty is everywhere and It’s in me. Tell me what and where your beauty is because I know you have it in you.
