Fitness Training with Coach Cat

Training is a word that many can get confused because many think that a person is training for a sport such as basketball, football, soccer, etc. Many people asked me, "What are you training for"? My response was "I am training to stay healthy and to become a fitness model". The look on their face was complete confusion and I can see why, because that was not a normal response. My training days consisted of training to properly conduct effective workouts and obtaining a well balance healthy way of eating. My training was an amazing experience with Certified Personal Trainer Coach Cat (Catherine Gonzales). She taught me to be consistent on my eating habits and how maintain toned muscles by eating certain foods to gain muscle, detoxing to get rid of unwanted toxins in the gut, and performing workouts to gain and define the muscle.

Eating certain foods to gain muscle requires discipline for sure. I was not ready, but I had to, to get the results I wanted. The first week Coach Cat wanted to see my routine of eating, so I had to take pictures of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I’m going to say it, she said, I eat like a little kid, lol. What she meant by that, was that I ate simple foods that require no thought and no cooking, she was right! I am a busy woman and like easy made meals. Sad but true, because if no one cooks for me, or I don’t eat out, it is a sandwich and chips for me, lol.

The first detox was a nutritional detox which was for 10 days, and it was not that bad. The first few days I was tempted because I had a food dependency of any kind, and I had to change that immediately. I had a negative habit of eating chips and drinking wine almost every day and guess what? I started to see my waist get pudgy and I felt grossly bloated. I did not like seeing and feeling that way, so I said “Self! You better get it together right now”! Needless to say, I am older and really must be careful of what I eat.

I was on a routine of eating raw foods such mixed greens, kale, hemp seeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, portabella mushrooms, bell peppers, grapes, apples, limes, lemons, black beans, and more. The nutritional detox was full of quality foods and not quantity of processed food. Processed food like, Dairy, white bread, white sugar, fried foods, chips, crackers, and cookies was forbidden! Sheesh! The second detox I did, was a one-day detox of a solution called Green Valley Cleanser and "Boy oh Boy" what a difference it made internally and externally.

On top of eating quality of raw foods, I had to exercise by performing workouts that gained and defined my muscles. The exercises consisted of low and high intensity cardio, which is performed post workout. The workouts were intense doing leg exercises, which is the biggest muscle on the body, especially the gluteus maximus aka The Booty! Squats, leg extensions, leg press, calf raises, etc. You name it, I was determined to get this booty right and tight, lol. I could go into more of all the workouts, but you will see most of the workouts I did in the vlog. The training with Catherine Gonzales aka Coach Cat was liberating and I will do it again in a heartbeat. She is very knowledgeable and knows what she is doing. I am not saying that because she is my friend, I am saying that because I got the results I wanted and that was the main key to having her guide me to a healthier way of living. Thank You Queen
