Sista Locs

Growing out my hair long has always been a challenge but I discovered through research that locs can increase the growth and length of my hair. When I started my loc journey, I noticed that my sista's and brotha's who have locs, testified to what I have researched. Starting my locs was easy but maintaining them and getting them to loc was tough. I went from washing my hair once a week to a month and a half. Washing often to not washing that often was really hard but I manage to decrease the itching and dryness in between time by using essential oils. The essential oils I use are Tea Tree Oil, Coconut Oil, Castro Oil, and Vitamin E. I also use other products because I am a product junkie, such as Alikay Natural Loc System and Sky Organics Rosewater Hydrating Toner. I don't use the same product for a long period of time because I like to try products and see what works and what doesn't work. I am a former hairdresser and I have had many styles but my sista locs are the most gratifying hairstyle of all and I Love it!
